The Sehrazat series, which is being prepared for broadcast on Star TV, is already recognized as one of the most anticipated projects of the new season.
Set in Istanbul, the series follows the impossible love between Sehrazat, a young woman studying medicine, and her boyfriend Ferhat. Their dreams of a happy future are shattered when Ferhat is unjustly sentenced to death.
Desperate to save the man she loves, Sehrazat seeks help from a powerful man known as Buyukbey. But he doesn’t know that Buyukbey never gives a favor without asking for something in return.
When the plans of Buyukbey’s daughter Sirin and her disgruntled husband Kubat collide with the need to preserve the empire, the lives of all the characters change drastically and nothing will ever be the same again.
The cast
The main roles in the series Sehrazat are interpreted by: Ismail Hacioglu, Simay Barlas and Aytac Sasmaz.
In addition to them, the cast includes Burcu Cavrar, Mehmet Cevik, Aysegul Unsal, Sehsuvar Aktas, Ozlem Tokaslan, Pinar Caglar Gencturk, Yagmur Ozbasmaci, Gokhan Bekletenler, Zeynep Dreyfi Zuhri, Batuhan Bayar, Sami Aksu and Tamer Levent.
Sehrazat series is produced by OGM Pictures, with Onur Guvenatam as producer. The director is Cagri Vila Lostuvali, while the screenwriters are Pelin Gulcan, Lara Bulut Tecim and Batuhan Ozbay.
The serial Sehrazat will soon begin its telecast on Star TV.
