Filming of the new Turkish series Sehrazat, which will soon be shown on Star TV, has begun.
Plot of Sehrazat series:
The series takes place in Istanbul and follows the impossible love between Sehrazat, a strong and hopeful young woman studying medicine, and her boyfriend Ferhat. Their happiness is shattered when Ferhat is unjustly sentenced to death.
Sehrazat, desperate to save her beloved from the gallows, seeks help from a powerful man named Buyukbey, known for his dark reputation. However, he doesn’t know that none of Buyukbey’s services come without a price.
When the combination of Buyukbey’s daughter Sirin and his unhappily married nephew Kubat combine with Buyukbey’s plans to maintain his power, everyone’s lives are turned upside down and nothing will ever be the same.
The cast
The cast of the Sehrazat series consists of Ismail Hacioglu, Simay Barlas, Aytac Sasmaz, Burcu Cavrar, Mehmet Cevik, Aysegul Unsal, Sehsuvar Aktas, Ozlem Tokaslan, Pinar Caglar Gencturk, Mert Denizmen, Yagmur Ozbasmaci, Gokhan Bekletenler.
There are also Buse Giriftinoglu, Nazlican Demir, Zeynep Dreyfi Zuhri, Batuhan Bayar, Sami Aksu, Halil Karaata and Tamer Levent.
The series is produced by OGM Pictures, with Onur Guvenatam as producer. The director is Cagri Vila Lostuvali, and the screenwriters are Pelin Gulcan, Lara Bulut Tecim and Batuhan Ozbay.
